How did you get started with the sport of football?

Since I was born I’d say. My mom took me to the beach and threw a beach ball into the water for me to swim, I’ve always had a ball with me since. But I started really playing when I was seven – I grew up with the football beside me. I always playing on the street with my friends and kids from school. Then I joined a club and when I was 17 I signed my first professional contract.

What is your favorite aspect of the game?

The people that you meet on your journey. You get to make good friends and share your passion with the sport. You see them daily, more than your family sometimes, so that’s what I love, the people around the game.

What does it mean to be playing for the Loyola Meralco Sparks?

I had some issues with my former club, and this is the first place I wanted to go. Mr. Randy Roxas helped I lot and I will always be thankful to him. It’s great to be part of such a strong team. We’re improving step by step, winning trophies now, so we’re getting there.

Strengths you bring to the team:

Well I’ve got experience in this League already. I’ve experienced playing in finals and winning trophies. I have the ambition to keep on winning, and I bring hard work. So those three: experience, ambition, and hard work

What are your expectations with the team?

We still have a chance to win the League so hopefully we can make a push in the second round. We also want to win again the UFL Cup. Our main goal is to be playing in the AFC Cup next season, so to get there we have to win at least one of the UFL competitions.
