What got you started in the sport of basketball?

Actually, first I was a football player – American football with the helmet and the pads. I played that for maybe about 12 to 14 years. And then, I think during high school, I was messing around P.E. and the head coach of basketball asked me to try out, and I just loved it ever since.

What’s your favourite aspect of the game?

Trash-talking. Just kidding. Actually, my favourite aspect of the game is winning. I’m a sore loser too.

What strengths do you bring to the team?

The strength the I give to the team, I’d say more of the defensive aspect – more of defending, rebounding, and more of helping my teammates out.

Ambitions with the Meralco Bolts?

Championship. All the way. That’s all that we’re after right now. That’s all we’re striving for right now. That championship number one.
